YOGA

Julie offers yoga and meditation classes at select studios in the LA area. Contact Julie for her latest schedule and offerings.

Julie founded Mukti Yoga School in 2004 and has certified hundreds of yoga teachers in Southern California and all around the world. Julie has been featured in publications such as Los Angeles Confidential and Origins, Lululemon advertising campaigns, and has taught at Wanderlust Festival in Squaw Valley.

With a Masters Degree in exercise physiology and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Julie helps students blend the spiritual aspects of the practice with solid anatomical principles. Julie also studied yoga extensively worldwide and spent 33 days without talking, reading or writing during a 3 month stay at an ashram in India. Her teachers include Swami Janakananda, Swami Satyanada, Shiva Rea, Sianna Sherman, and Shakti Mhi.

Julie teaches ancient yogic wisdom, academic knowledge, astrological principles and intuition in layman's terms. In addition to her public classes, she is also a passionate teacher of elite athletes. As an All American collegiate 2-sport athlete herself, Julie is able to make personal connections with her athlete clientele, including the US National teams for volleyball, soccer, and cycling.
